Fine Motor Skills Activity Guide

As an Occupational Therapist, with a keen interest in skill development and progression and having previously wrote the eBook ‘sensory survival guide’ also available from www.ot-abc.com, I decided to create a guide to help parents, teachers, fellow therapists and students to help children progress with their fine motor skills.

Fine motor skills are so important and essential for so many daily activities from getting dressed (buttons, zips, shoe laces), to brushing your teeth, toileting, to important skills in the classroom like handwriting, opening and closing your pencil case, changing pages in a book to being able to engage in play based tasks like Lego, threading beads, colouring, playing with dolls, playing with toy cars/dinosaurs, the list is simply endless.
